Taste the Wild, Australian Wild Prawn launches

The Australian Wild Prawns ‘Taste the Wild’ marketing campaign was officially launched in Brisbane on Monday 12 September by the ACPF and Fisheries Ministers Murray Watt (by video) and Mark Furner. The event was well attended by representatives from the commercial fishing industry, supply chain, retail, FRDC and SIA who celebrated the launch of the ‘Taste the Wild’ campaign with a delicious array of Australian wild prawns.

‘Taste the Wild’ was built on the multi-award winning Australian Wild Prawn ‘More than a Prawn’ campaign to build community trust and promote the Australian Wild Prawn industry. The campaign has already reached over 1,500,000 people via social media since Easter 2022 with spring and summer activity set to roll out. The campaign runs in parallel to the ACPF/ FRDC project that will engage food service.

The ACPF thanks the ‘Taste the Wild’ campaign’s proud supporters and contributors and Austral, Raptis and ISP for donating wild prawns for the launch.
