There might be others who have already a ‘tried and proven’ idea, but travelling to see what they’ve done is costly. If this sounds familiar, the ACPF is keen to help.
The ACPF’s Fisher Innovation program supports a fisher/s to investigate a solution to a problem, aligns them with a relevant ACPF project underway for technical assistance, and assists with travel costs to look at solutions and to report back to other fishing businesses on their findings. Up to $7,000 per project is on offer for up to three projects per year.
