Having been proud partners with Seafood Industry Australia inside FRDC project 2017/242 “Our pledge: Australian seafood industry response to community values and expectations”, ACPF has signed on to “Our Pledge”.
Australia’s wild prawn fisheries share similar social licence issues with other Australian seafood sectors. We also share the need to honestly and confidently engage the community in the fact that we care about issues that they care about. The ACPF/FRDC project profiling wild prawn fisheries and values will produce evidence that we are committed to “Our Pledge”.
